Calista Flockhart is probably more famous for her relationship with actor Harrison Ford than she is for her role in the successful ‘Ally McBeal’ television series. The actress has long been rumoured to have a history of eating disorders, which it is known can take a toll on the way that the body and face look. It is clear when you look at pictures of her that she has had some work done to the way she looks, it is especially obvious in the area of her mouth.

Considering how angular her face is, her lips are remarkably rounded and plump. Sources claim that the actress was never really happy with the lips that she was born with, so took the opportunity of being able to undergo lip augmentation in order to get the lips that she wanted. It was a good move on her part as the result is that her face now appears softer and more feminine. Calista Flockhart is now in her fifties though she looks much younger and despite the things that she has done to her body in respect of not eating properly and over exercising, she seems to be wearing the aging process well.

It may well be that the rumours surrounding plastic surgery are all related to the way that her weight has fluctuated over the years. Weight gain or loss however will not explain away the rumours surrounding her having undergone rhinoplasty to augment the shape of her nose. There is also talk about her having had cheek implants, something that many celebrities her age turn to when they fear that their skin is losing its natural elasticity which means that their cheeks will start to sag. The actress herself has never acknowledged or denied the rumours surrounding her plastic surgery.
