Has Barbara Eden had plastic surgery?

Barbara Eden burst onto our television screens in the television series ‘I Dream of Jeannie’. She gained fame not only as an actress but also as a singer. She is no stranger to plastic surgery and has undergone a number of different procedures in order to maintain not only a youthful appearance, but also retain some of the looks she had at the height of her career. She has not only had facial surgery she has also sought the help of the plastic surgeon to improve other areas of her body.

What type of plastic surgeries? More or less?

After gaining weight she had the excess fat removed from her body using liposuction, a costly and uncomfortable procedure which leaves deep bruising. Her previously rounded and slightly broader nose is now straight and perfectly shaped thanks to the nose job she had at age 75. You will notice that despite her age her skin is remarkably smooth and wrinkle free, a look achieved through lifting and tightening the skin around her face and using dermal fillers in order to smooth out the wrinkles and lines. Other women of the same age would have a certain amount of droopiness and sagging around the eyes which suggests that she has also undergone an eye lift.

Before and After:

Aside from the obvious facial surgery Barbara has also received breast implants, providing her with much fuller breasts. There is also the suggestion that she has had what is commonly referred to as a ‘tummy tuck’ to remove the excess fat and skin in the stomach area, a surgery common with women who have lost weight or have had children. There is no denying that the surgery that she has had has provided her with a wonderful figure, and a youthful look which harkens back to her days as the genie in the lamp in the television series which made her famous.
