Who Did Raquel Welch Plastic Surgery?

Raquel Welsh was born in 1940, which places her squarely in her seventies. Her prehistoric styled bikini which she wore in the movie ‘One Billion Years B.C.’ caught the attention of millions of fans and as a result she became one of the biggest sex symbols of the 1960’s. There is no way to deny that the looks the actress has now are the result of anything other than plastic surgery, and we can assume that she has been through a myriad of procedures in order to make her look a decade or so younger than she actually is.

Raquel Welch Plastic Surgery?

There are many that believe that she has done as much surgery as her face and her health can handle, and that now would be a good time to stop fighting growing old and let nature take its course. It may be that the aging actress has other ideas. Like many women Botox has been a natural and convenient solution to fighting facial lines and wrinkles, and a way of maintaining the smoothness and appearance of the skin after a face lift. It is glaringly obvious that she has undergone a face lift as there is none of the sagging skin a woman in her seventies can expect to accumulate around her jaw line and neck area. The combination of a brow lift and eyelid surgery has opened up her eye area and revitalised her face. This is one of the first areas of the face to show the signs of aging.

Before and After:

While the actress has never talked about the procedures she has been through; it is obviously not in her best interests to deny that it is because of the work of a surgeon that she looks so good at her age. Now would indeed be a good time to stop the surgery. Her skin will have little elasticity left and may not be able to withstand the strain of further facial surgeries.
